Chris King is a freelance trumpet player in Orlando, Florida. He has been a musician for Walt Disney World since 2005, and holds a Bachelors degree in music from Rollins College. He has performed with the Bach Festival Orchestra of Winter Park, and done various musical theatre productions throughout the state of Florida. He has had the pleasure of playing with artists such as Hank Williams Jr, Béla Fleck, Kirk Franklin, David Benoit, Sam Rivers, and Tony Vega.

Chris also serves as a composer/arranger for various Orlando big bands and popular music groups, often incorporating/orchestrating horn and string section parts, and adapting pop tunes for different ensemble instrumentation. He has appeared on nationally-syndicated television programs on ABC, PBS, TBN, ESPN Univision, and Telemundo, and has performed at music festivals throughout the United States. Chris can be seen weekly on ESPN's “Monday Night Football” theme song introduction with Hank Williams Jr, during the 2011 NFL season. He can be found playing regularly in jazz, Latin, pop, funk/R&B, and ska groups through the American Southeast, and maintains a lesson studio of many students who are commonly accepted into district- and state-level honor bands.

In the Orlando area, Chris can be found playing with Teflon Don, the Frank Vardaros Jazz Orchestra, and many other groups on a regular basis.
